I was Director of Early Childhood in Maryland and Florida where I started an early childhood center in Naples, Florida beginning with 40 students and had over 165 students after my four years there.
I have two children, Timothy Jason and Jeniece Yvonne Tillman.
Three grandchildren, two girls and one boy.
I am a child of God. He has chosen me and continues to bless me to work with His children. My purpose is introducing Christ in the lives of children and grow with them in their personal relationship with God!
Miss. Cindy Butt (pronounced Boot) has accepted the Call to be Grace Lutheran Schools new Middle School Science teacher and 6th grade homeroom teacher. Below is a short biography about Miss. B;
I am looking forward to starting my 14th year of teaching and my first year at Grace Lutheran School. It is a true joy to be a part of the Grace Family.
I graduated from Concordia University Wisconsin in 2000 with a major in elementary education and minor in science. The majority of my teaching career has been at the 5th-8th grade levels, however, I have also taught 1st and 3rd grade as self-contained classrooms. The Lord has blessed me with teaching opportunities around the United States including Hawaii, Louisiana, Illinois, Wisconsin and now Florida. Those experiences allow me to share culture from around the United States with my classes.
I enjoy spending time with my family and see my niece and nephew as often as I can. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with friends, hiking, geocaching, cooking, archery, watching baseball and hockey, reading, snorkeling and travel.
I am looking forward to working with all of the students, families, congregation members, and co-workers at Grace Lutheran School.
