Grace Lutheran School

Computer Lab

The computer lab at Grace Lutheran School is a special classroom designed to allow for the direct teaching of technology skills.

Students in kindergarten through grade six receive instruction in the use of a variety of computer programs and productivity tools.  Each student is able to practice and perfect their technology skills at their own work station.  Students in grades seven and eight use the computer lab to complete their everyday classwork, and to access course content from the Florida Virtual School.

The computer lab stations run using a thin client server system.  Two servers provide the 26 work stations with access to software programs, school network resources, and filtered internet access.  Each thin client station gives the student complete capability to work with video, audio, and voice activities.
